Meet the Owner
My name is Joshua Lee, proud owner of JosTLeeWebDesign. A little history, I started web designing as a hobby (over 7 years ago) while in college, Texas Tech University, where I obtained a degree in MIS and Management. I started out small, building pro bono websites for my Fraternity (Delta Sigma Pi), a Dallas based wholesale jewelry company called Schandra, and a few other sites. After gaining some experience and incorporating new business via word-of-mouth, I started setting myself up to turn my hobby into viable income.
I love what I do. I enjoy having the ability to learn new things daily. I don’t care what anyone else might say but web designing is as much an art form as it is a means of communication. It allows you to express yourself visually to the world and tell others who you are and what you do.
The soul purpose of this business to help what society calls today the “little man (or woman)”. The reason, over the years, I realized that a lot of start-up companies and organizations don’t have either the time, knowledge, or budget to create a professional website that truly communicates who they are without having to invest a lot of money to get it done.
I know there are a great deal of services out there that allow people to create web sites by pointing and clicking. Unfortunately, these platforms are limited and lack personality or the feel to customize beyond the “box”. Yes they allow you to get things up quickly but once your business needs become more complex you’ve hit a wall. I don’t operate in a box and neither do you. Why should your website?
